Orissa Puri Beach
Puri Beach is the best beach of the Indian state of Orissa. It is located on the coast of the Bay of Bengal and is 62 km away from the state capital Vubaneswar. The long sandy Beach and the spectacular temple architecture have made this coastal city of Jagannathpuri one of the main destinations to the Indian tourist. Puran Lord Jagannath use to reside in this place hence the name of the city Puri comes from Jagannathpuri. The temple of Lord Jagannath and the Beach are must see of Puri. In July of every year huge visitor come Puri to take part in famous Chariot festival. There are times when sea becomes rough and undercurrent becomes strong. So, ask the local fisherman
